Rev. Teondrell Bickart was born and raised in Chicago, IL. He attended James N. Thorp Elementary School and Hyde Park Academy High School. A lifelong member of New Prospect M.B. Church, Rev. Bickart served in many capacities throughout his youth, including Youth Choir Director, member of the “Youth Mine” Team, and participant in the Youth Praise and Worship Team. He later became the Minister of Music and Head Choir Director, co-captain of the Social Media Department, and dedicated assistant to various other ministries within the church.

In 2020, Rev. Bickart earned his Associate’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix. He has also pursued theological studies at the Chicago Baptist Institute and is currently working toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies through Andersonville Theological Seminary.

Rev. Bickart is an active leader in the Bethlehem Baptist District Association and the Baptist State Young Adults Department. Since 2022, he has served as President of the Young Adult Department (Young Adult Missionary Activist). Under his leadership, the participation and engagement of young adults across the district have grown significantly.

Rev. Bickart’s favorirt scriptures include:

• “Be not weary in well doing, for in due season you shall reap, if you faint not.” - Galatians 6:9

• “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge God, and He shall direct your paths.” - Proverbs 3:5-6

His personal motto is:

“If when you give the best of your service, telling the world that the Savior has come, be not dismayed whatever men might say- He will understand and say, “Well done.”
